Accessibility
We want anyone who has metal to sell to be able to get a quote from us without help. This page describes the standard we hold ourselves to, what we have done, and what to do when something gets in your way.
Our standard
We design and review this site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We have not completed a formal third-party audit, so we describe this as our target rather than a certification — and we would rather say that plainly than claim a badge we do not hold.
What that means here
- Keyboard use. Every link, form field and menu item is reachable and operable without a mouse.
- Text you can read. Body copy is dark grey on white, sized for mobile-first reading, and it scales when you zoom the page.
- Labels, not placeholders. Form fields carry visible labels, so nothing disappears the moment you start typing.
- Screen reader structure. Headings follow a real order, and content is marked up as lists and sections rather than styled paragraphs.
- No time limits, no surprise motion. Nothing on this site counts down, auto-plays, or moves on its own.
- Plain language. We describe the process in ordinary terms and give the same information by several routes.
If the website is not the accessible route for you
Call +1 (253) 525-8315 or text +1 (253) 525-8315, or email [email protected]. We will take your request by phone or email and handle the whole transaction that way, at no different terms than the online route.
Tell us when something blocks you
If any part of this site is hard to use, we want the details: the page, what you were trying to do, and what happened. Send that to [email protected] and we will fix it or give you a working alternative.
Known limitations
- Some older pages on this site use a light blue accent that meets contrast only as a border or heading decoration, never as body text. Where it fails, we are replacing it with dark text.
- Customer-supplied photographs sent by email cannot carry alt text, so we describe them in our reply when the image matters to your quote.
