You are sending us information about metal you own and how to reach you. That deserves careful handling, so this page states exactly what we collect, where it sits, who can see it, and what we do with it.

What we collect from you

• Quote request form: your first and last name, email address, your estimate of what you are sending and its weight, the karat or purity if you know it, and anything you write in the free-text box.
• Photographs: only if you choose to email them to us. The form itself does not accept file uploads.
• Later, only if you accept an offer: a mailing address, so items can be returned to you, and the email address tied to your PayPal account, so payment can be sent.

We do not ask for a bank account, a card number, a government ID number, or a Social Security number on this website. If a payment above a reporting threshold requires information from you, we will ask for it directly and tell you why.

Automatic information

Like most websites, ours records basic technical details — browser type, device, approximate region, pages viewed — through cookies and analytics. We use Google Analytics for that purpose. It tells us which pages people reach and where they stop, nothing more. We do not run advertising networks, and we do not sell or share your information with advertisers.

Where your information lives

• Form submissions are stored in this website's database, hosted by KnownHost in the United States.
• A copy is delivered by email to [email protected].
• Cloudflare sits in front of the site to serve it quickly and to block abusive traffic.
• If you accept an offer, PayPal processes that payment. We never see or store your PayPal balance, card numbers, or bank details — only the email address you give us to pay you at.

Access to the website's database and to the info@ mailbox is limited to the owner of this business. No employees, contractors, or third parties have routine access.

How we use it

Only to answer your request, describe an offer, arrange shipping or return of your items, pay you, and keep our own records straight. We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not send newsletters unless you ask for one.

How long we keep it

Quote requests are kept while the transaction is open. Records of completed purchases — what we bought, from whom, when, and what we paid — are kept indefinitely as business records, because we are required to be able to account for metal we have taken in. If you ask us to delete a quote request that never became a purchase, we will.

Your choices

Email [email protected] and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — except where we must keep a completed-transaction record.

Security

This site is served entirely over HTTPS, and we keep the software behind it patched. No method of transmission or storage is perfect, so we ask that you not send us anything you would not want written down — and we do not need your account passwords or ID numbers to give you a quote.

Age

We buy only from people who can legally sell property, so this site is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be announced on this page rather than buried.
