How Selling to Us Works

Four steps, start to finish. You approve every offer before anything is final, and nothing is sold unless you say so.

1

Describe what you have

Complete the intake form with your item types, an estimated weight, and any photos you have on hand. Estimates are fine — rough weights and "I think it's 14k" are enough to start. You are not committing to anything.

2

Send your items

We confirm receipt of your form and send you shipping instructions along with the address to send to. Pack securely, and keep your tracking number — that is your proof of delivery.

3

We weigh and test on arrival

Weight and purity are verified in person once your package reaches us. Your quote is based on those measurements, not on your estimates, and not on a photograph. Jewelry is evaluated as metal; pieces with stones, settings, or decorative detail are broken down accordingly.

4

You approve, then you're paid

We send you a written offer with the measured weight, purity, and the amount. Accept it and payment is issued. Decline it and your items go back to you. There is no obligation to accept any offer.

Prices move daily. An offer reflects the metal value at the time we complete testing, not the value at the time you filled out the form. Because of that, the numbers on a quote request are always indicative until your items are measured here.

What we buy

We buy

  • Broken and unwanted gold jewelry
  • Gold chains, bracelets, rings, earrings
  • 10k, 14k, 18k and higher karats
  • Gold coins and bullion rounds
  • Dental gold and gold scrap
  • Sterling silver and .999 fine silver
  • Silver coins, bars and flatware
  • Mixed lots — you do not need to sort by karat
  • Gold filled and gold plated jewelry +

We can't buy

  • Items you do not own or have authority to sell
  • Stolen or recovered-property holdings
  • Platinum and palladium (email us)
Before you ship, please read this.
  • Testing can damage a piece. Verifying purity may require scratching, acid, or heat. An item sent to us may not return in wearable condition, even if you decline the offer.
  • Stones and pearls are assumed synthetic. Any stone or pearl is valued at nothing unless the piece arrives with GIA documentation. That includes lab-grown diamonds.
  • Plated and filled items pay very little. Costume, gold-plated and gold-filled pieces are paid on trace metal content only. We would rather tell you that now than after you have shipped.
  • Watch movements are not valued. Watch cases are bought as metal. The movement, battery, crystal and dial add nothing to your offer.

Before you send anything

  • Confirm ownership. Be prepared to provide identifying information with your shipment.
  • Do not polish or repair. Cleaning and sizing changes nothing about the metal content.
  • Separate nothing. Mixed karats are normal and are sorted on our side.
  • Use the tracking number. It is the only reliable record if a carrier misdelivers.
  • Keep photos of your items before they leave your hands.

If you decline the offer

↩

Tell us and your items are returned to you. Declining an offer does not create any debt, fee, or obligation on your side, and it does not affect your ability to request a new quote later.
